Presentation on how the first enzyme involved in concentrating CO2 in C4 photosynthesis reacts to temperature. When carbonic anhydrase is low it may not be able to keep pace with the second enzyme in the pathway, PEPC.

In this talk I explored how C4 bioenergy crop switchgrass has phenotypic traits associated with increases in biomass yield of improved and/or registered switchgrass genotypes. I examined specific leaf area, tiller number, tiller diameter, tiller mass, and height in a common garden experiment.
